  1. Hi.
I'd like to get your help on the issue that I'm currently having on http://www.blogmanutd.com. The issue only appears in IE6 but not Firefox.
    Here's what happened:
The right column always appear *after* the last post in IE. So the whole page becomes very long because the right column have all the empty spaces in middle and left side of the page.
I try to shift the r_sidebar.php in index.php but apparently it's not the case. Also, tried different variations of number of posts per page, but the issue is still there.

Please help out. Thanks so much!!

  2. Ed, the sidebar under the content most of time points at a non closed <div> tag.
Check in your index.php that all div tags are closed correctly.

Btw, I moved the thread to the support forum. I don't think theme problems are general announcements. :P

  3. Franky, thanks for the speedy reply. Oh and yes, I totally agree, the theme problem belongs to the support forum. Sorry about that.

I've checked index.php and all tags are closed correctly, however, the issue is still there. I also checked header.php and footer.php and they do have all div tags well-formed.

    One thing I noticed though on index.php line 22 : <div class="clear"></div>
Would there any possibility that this might somehow affect it? Or would it be something in the 5 posts in homepage that might have not well-formed <div>?

Thanks a lot!! Appreciate your help.

  4. ok, found the resolution ... just in case if anyone out there might've got the same issue ... the cause of this is Google's Ad Sense 200x200 Referral banners codes embedded in the "left" sidebar widget. I guess what happened is with margins, the size of that widget (combined with the main content) exceeded the allocated width and therefore, the righ banner was shifted to the bottom after all has been contents are rendered.

You can modify the AdSense code to reduce the width to something like 170 or 180, that should be enough.

    Hope this helps,
