  1. I installed cutline with the random header and I love it. My site can be found at http://wednesdayknights.com/.

I love the looks of the theme. However, for some reason, my permalinks do not work. my permalink naming scheme is straight numbers. When I click to go to a post, instead of taking me to that particular post, I get taking to the archives page.

    Any thoughts?

  2. That's kooky. In your admin panel for wordpress, in your options, under permalinks, what is your permalink structure set to?

  3. It is set on Numeric.

  4. Have you tried reinstalling cutline yet? If you haven't really done any hardcore mods to it, this shouldn't negatively impact you and it's worth a try.

  5. I did not reinstall Cutline. However, I did install a different version (I originally had the 3 column with both sidebars on the right I switched to the three column with the sidebars on each side). I activated the new one (which I am running now) and I still have the same problem. The only changes I have made was to install the random header coding.

Thus, it looks like a reinstall does not solve the problem.

  6. Just to rule it out, I do a complete reinstall of cutline 3 column right. I still have the same problem. The permalinks do not work.

  7. change your permalink structure to custom and put this code in the box.

it has something to do with wordpress and cutline's naming structure not getting along. It drove me crazy for a while until I found this tip somewhere.
