How to center Archives drop down menu?

    I'm using the Archives drop down menu widget and it automatically puts it flush up against the very edge of the sidebar.

    Everything else in the sidebar, text, graphics, etc, can be easily centered using <center> text or graphic here </center> - but in the Archives widget there is no place to do that. Is there a way to center it in the theme editor?
