How do I setup default formatting for the newest post?

    I'm trying to display an advertiser's banner at the end of every new post I create (the newest/first post shown on my blog). Once I create another post after that, I want the banner to be displayed at the end of this post, thus making it the newest and not the previous one. JohnChow.com has a fine example of what I want to do if you look at his latest posts.

    Currently I have to edit each new post I make by adding the banner HTML, and then removing it as the post gets bumped down by a new one.

    Any ideas?
