I would like to edit the time format for posts on the front page.
The time format should look like this: the_time('d.m.Y')

I have edited all *.php files in the Cutline-1.4-3ColumnSplit folder.

Still on the front page the time format does not change while in the single view it is changed.

    Strange.

Problem resolved. The file in question is index.php. Strangely, the index.php was not loaded to the server after changing the settings.

  5. Thanks Terra

Am sorry I should have clarified - was hoping to use a Frontpage feature as opposed to javascript. Besides, as you mentioned - the javascript would pull info from the client machine as opposed to the server and it would be better to rely on the server.

  7. Well, the problem was with the index.php. For editing the time format for posts, the index.php is required and failing to load it into the server after the change in settings was the problem. Anyway, I am glad to hear that you have resolved the problem yourself! Anyway, you could also use a Front page feature next time you are in trouble with editing the time format instead of the Javascript procedure that you were trying to implement here!
