Archives page empty

    Hi

    I have read through the substantial material you have written on how to create the Archives link and make it work with permalinks.
    OK, done that and I have a structure: [/%postname%-%post_id%.html]
    But my Archives page is empty, there is only the usual comments stuff.

    The page was created manually but I don't know how to resolve this problem. I couldn' find anything on the Cutline page.

    Any help please :-)

    Thanks guys (NOT), I am new to the WordPress system so I'd hope at least someone from the Cutline group would be able to answer me in 5 seconds flat.

    Well, I had to solve this one by myself, for anyone else who has the same problem I can tell you that after you create the Archives page you MUST set the Page template to Archives. You do that in the Archives page you just created and scroll down to the additional settings. Sorry, at this point I would attach an image but this forum does not have that feature so you just have to use your imagination.

    Thanks for help!

    How do you set the page template?

    Go to MANAGE > PAGES - click on the Archives page - then
    You go all the way down and there it says "Page Template". It looks like a header to an empty section and you need to click it.

    Hope this is additional help.
