Jimescalante.net/teach is a test blog that I am building for the classes that I teach. Cutline is an attractive theme and is the best that I have found for my needs. Thanks for sharing the theme Chris.
As you can see, I have customized it for my needs. On the left sidebar I found the code and edited the heading Categories and changed it to CLASS PAGES. I have created a category for each type of post related to each of my classes and they logically align on the left side bar. So far this works great,I can host one wordpress blog for all of my classes and the students can simply click on the specific link under class pages.
Now to my question or request. In the near future I will need to add post that are not specific to a class but general posts that are of interest to all students, Lets say, "Art Exhibitions". I would love to know how to modify the code on the left sidebar so that a post under "Art Exhibitions" could get listed under another heading right below the current class pages. For example, CATEGORIES would have the same style treatment as CLASS PAGES but it would have a list of all categories that were not specific to a class, such as "Art Exhibitions", "Book Arts", "Videos". " etc.
I realize that the code will need to list each the category id which I can find with no problem. I just don't have a clue how to write the code.
Any suggestions would be very helpful.
