I had the same problem, and that's why I decided I wouldn't use widgets. I like to be able to see and modify the code in my sidebars directly, so I'm not sure what to tell you since I decided not to use widgets like 10 mins after messing around with the theme. The recent posts thing looked crappier as a widget too.</p> <p>I'd be interested if someone knows how you edit the code for the widgets. The problem I have is the styling. The search looks like nice in the default sidebar. But when I change the sidebar contents, the search box in the sidebar looks incredibly vanilla, without styling. I can't tell where that little bit of code comes from.
