If you set the float to none, you run the risk of it not looking the same in other formats or browsers. However, you can always just check everything manually, and hopefully keep the continuity you're looking for. personal injury lawyer Tampa

Well, I have also experienced the same situation when trying to add the caption to any of the image. You can try out this simple method where you need to remove the image and after wards save the post. Right after that, you need to place the image along with the caption. This should solve the problem. Anyway, there are chances that this could be a CSS issue as well where you need to adjust the padding and all!

Hello all,

I'm hoping someone can assist. I've just upgraded to Wordpress 3.0.1 from 2.9.2 and Atahualpa 3.5.3 from 3.4.6, and this seems to have introduced a problem with image alignment and captions.

In some of my posts, the images are all aligned to the left, even though I've set them to be centred, and in the WYSIWYG post editor they do appear centered. The caption text is also appearing in black when it should be green, and outside the box around the image when it should be inside. by (poffertjes)

It looks like on other posts it's working. What you may want to do is remove the image and then save the post. Then go back in and put the image back in with the caption to fix the problem.

If that doesn't work, then it's a css issue where the padding would need to be adjusted.

I can't figure this out for the life of me. It seems every time I have an image adjacent to a bulleted list, the bullet point in the list ignores all margins and runs right into the image. If I move the bulleted list above or below the image, the bullet point respects the margins defined in the CSS stylesheet. Here's an example.

http://www.authorsnow.com/otto-grows-down-by-michael-sussman/

Note the bulleted list above the image and the left margin of that bullet point. Compare it to the left margin in the bulleted list which appears to the right of the image.

How can I get the square bullet point to stop sitting on the edge of my images?

Hi,

I would like to assign a different class to the widgets in the right sidebar (in Cutline 3-column split).

In r_sidebar.php I've changed the classes from "widget" to "widget_r". Then I copied the "sidebar styles"-section, renamed both of them to "l_sidebar styles" and "r_sidebar styles", and edited the classes of both sections. Now I have classes like "li.widget ..." in the "l_sidebar"-section and "li.widget_r ..." in the "r_sidebar"-section. The left sidebar shows the new dark background with a white font on it as it should be, but the right sidebar has the bright background even with the white font on it which should be a dark blue. My Web-Developer installed in FF shows me that the right sidebar is still assigned to the "widget"-classes and not to the "widget_r"-classes. Why? Where can I edit that?

Thanxalot, L.

If I understand your question correctly, I did it by putting the header content in comments brackets in the header.php file:

This line:

"><?php bloginfo('name'); ?>

insert as this line:

I wasn't using a description line, but if you are, just do the same comment brackets inside that
line, too.
