Update - Download links fixed. Spaces, underscores, dashes, oh my. Let me know what you think of the latest edition.
Cutline is still being developed, there are always changes to make, and this time, more than any other release I think I have changed the theme so average users can get into it easier.
Remember that Archive link in the header of every installation? I have since removed it, making sure to use WordPress’ built-in page listing code, so top level pages will be displayed automatically rather than having to edit the theme.
I have also taken some advice given freely to me by Gabriel Radic on his Timbru blog, so if you like the changes, please thank him.
There are no more italics in the blockquotes, I have added some text to the 404 page, so that non-web savvy users understand where they are, and I have removed the comments link from the index page meta-data line. I have also changed the meta-data line to use a san-serif font to be easier to read.
I have also checked the theme for WordPress 2.5 compatibility and haven’t been able to replicate any issues that others have mentioned.
As always, you can find the download link on the sidebar.

It seems that there is something wrong with the download links, none of them appear to work

Thanks for considering my suggestions Chris.
I did a few other tweaks via custom.css, they may be interesting too.
I am still very interested in the wrapper div on posts, but that’s beyond my php skills.
Thanks again.

The 2 column download link appears to still not work.
3 column appears to work just fine…but would rather the 2 column.
Looking forward to this one!

Hi,
There is a small typo error in “functions.php” of theme “cutline-3-column-right-11″ in line 6. It should be “register_sidebars(2);”, but the trailing “s” is missing and, as a consequence, the sidebars cannot be registered. Thought you might want to fix it.

Hi, what a great version of Cutline. I just wander if there is a possibility to get the option to change the interface language like it is in WordPress.com service.

Hi, what a great version on Cutline!
Just wandering if there is a possibility to get the option for changing the interface language in it. I would need it in Finnish.

I’m new to blogging. I just started last January. I’ve looked at all 110 pages of WordPress themes and I picked Cutline because of its sophisticated clean look. Also, this site has a lot of support; I’m going to need it because I’m just learning PHP. I was former software engineer at Intel Corp before getting into real estate 4 years ago. Intel sucked the life out of me and I started hating coding; now that I’m not doing it for work, it’s getting to be fun again. Actually this PHP stuff is addicting. Thanks for the new 1.3 release.

Love the there been using it for a while now, but I’m having an issue. Just did some trouble shooting and tracked it back to this theme.
I’m using pod press 8.8 and when the feed is longer than 4 episodes it breaks. The errors are fewer in the latest version of cutline, but still make it non-functional.
Here is the error, any advice? (errors do not occur on default theme)
This feed does not validate.

line 2, column 0: XML parsing error: :2:0: junk after document element [help]

First of all, let me thank you for such a nice template and share with us. I do like the clean design a lot. Actually I didn’t know that templates need upgrade (not that technology inclined) and I have been using probably a version 1.1 for a long time.
I like the 3-column setting because I tend to put lots of stuff on the side bars.
I realize that on the homepage, the “comment” link does not appears right underneath the blog title (though it appears at the bottom of each entry together with the tag). But to view a single blog entry, the “comment” link appears both top and bottom. In fact, in this template of yours, at the homepage, you do have that “comment” link appears right underneath the title. Is there a reason why the 3-column setting does not have it? I did a manual copy-and-paste and now seems to work.
Last but not the least, please continue to support the templates.
Your fan.
